UDistrictDaily is part of a network of Seattle neighborhood sites operated by Next Door Media, which was founded in 2008 by journalists Kate and Cory Bergman. The Bergmans also own My Ballard, Queen Anne View, Magnolia Voice, Fremont Universe, Maple Leaf Life, Wedgwood View, and My Wallingford. Phinney Wood, a partner site owned by another local couple, is also part of the network.
