Effective engagement practice

We live in a place where many people use Facebook, and so we use that platform along with Twitter and Instagram, and engage with our readers, including via Facebook live coverage of political and community events. We also attend local farmers markets, send our members and readers surveys to receive more feedback, and plan to hold a series of upcoming public forums around becoming a co-operative.

Revenue challenges

Developing sustainable enough revenue streams to budget for expanded staffing and special projects. Smaller challenges: Developing an effective tech stack to ensure we have easy payment processing for individual donations and recurring memberships; retaining effective advertising sales staff and recurring clients.
