Philly Voice was founded by three veterans of Philly.com, carrying a mix of local, national and international news. It appears to benefit from start up investment and is relatively well staffed on the development side. According to one report, George Norcross, a local Philadelphia businessman, political boss, and one-time co-owner of The Philadelphia Inquirer is backing the site. Revenue: Advertising.
